Peanut butter and jelly is a kid-friendly classic, but it was time to remix it and give it a new twist! I looked over and saw an innocent package of LIVING JIN Agar Agar and decided to do a little experimenting. This quick and easy recipe is friendly on the budget and the tastebuds.

Make sure to fully dissolve the Agar Agar in liquid before adding other ingredients, otherwise, your mixture will clump together.
Step 1. Crust
2/3 cup Cereal of Choice
1/3 cup Walnuts
2 Tbsp Melted Vegan Butter (or Margarine)
Using a food processor or high-speed blender, combine cereal (we used Cheerios), walnuts, and melted vegan butter or margarine until crumbled.
Pack dish (approximately 4 X 4 inches, but up to 6 X 6 inches) evenly with a cereal-walnut crust.
Step 2. Peanut Butter Layer
2 Tbsp Peanut Butter
2/3 cup Almond Milk
1 Tbsp Agar Agar Powder
In a small saucepan, bring 2/3 cup almond milk to a simmer, add 1 Tbsp Agar Agar, and dissolve well.
When Agar Agar is fully incorporated, add 1/3 Tbsp cacao, and 2 Tbsp peanut butter. Mix until well combined.
Pour cacao and peanut butter mixture on top of cereal-walnut crust and spread evenly.
4) Cool in the fridge for about 15minutes.
Step 3. Jelly Layer
1/3 cup Jelly
2/3 Tbsp Agar Agar Powder
2/3 cup Water
In a saucepan, heat 2/3 cup water on medium-high heat and dissolve 2/3 Tbsp Agar Agar into water.
When Agar Agar is fully incorporated, add 1/3 cup grape jelly until melted down.
Pour grape jelly mixture over cooled cacao and peanut butter layer.
Refrigerate for about 15 minutes or until the top layer is solid.
Remove from mold, serve immediately, and enjoy within 3 days.
